Dolomites Tour v Euro 2012
It’s the transfer day to start our tour and also the final of Euro 2012 between Italy and Spain. We are in the Canazei town square watching the big screen with a thousand locals and 6 Spaniards. Of course Henda, our translator and driver is one of those 6. 2 nil to Spain as I go to bed so Italians not happy. For is it is the Sella Ronda on the morning! It doesn’t get any better.

In Perth without bike! Going to coffee shop not the same.
Tour Down Under 2012
We had a great time at the Tour Down Under this year. With lots of riders in our group we had the roads and coffee shops in Adelaide and the hills covered. Our keenest rider managed nearly 1200kms for the week so not all of the time was spent in coffee shops! With the hot weather everyone was glad of the hospitality tent at the KOM point. The TDU is one of the best stage races in the world to follow as we managed to see a variety of starts, KOMs and finishes during the week and all of this on the bike. How good is that!
Website Update
Apologies if you had trouble viewing our website in the last fortnight. We changed web hosts and our site got caught in the ether! Happily we are back but we have lost some of the blogs which is a shame as they showed the support we have been giving to our key charities Hartley Disability and the Kids Foundation.
These charities do fantastic work in our communities and we are trying to return the favour by supporting their fundraising cycle challenges. For Hartley we sponsor a team that has to ride from Canberra to Kosciusko and return, a journey of around 450kms in 3 days. The Kids Foundation is a ride from Port Melbourne to Port Macquarie. The Port to Port ride is in May so we are getting set for it right now.
Anyone who wants to join in on this effort is welcome to get in touch using the attached form.
