DCT at Alpe d’Huez at the 2015 Tour de France
One of the great things about a DCT tour is that we always include the iconic climbs that we see in the Tour de France and the Giro. Sometimes we do it on race day and at other times we have it all to ourselves (almost). That could be you riding up the Alpe in July with DCT. Contact us to find out the details.
DCT Alpes Grand Tour
The ride to the summit of the Col de la Bonette is one of the great rides on the DCT Grande Alpes Tour. Come and join us as we head towards Nice through some of the best riding to be had in France. Check out the great DCT rides.
Giro d’Italia visits DCT in Dolomites
The Sella Ronda is one of the great rides in Italy and it was no surprise to see the Giro racing around it towards Corvara this week. The helicopter shots showed the fabulous Dolomites in all their glory. DCT will be there in August taking our riders over the same glorious rides. We will have the advantage of less bikes and cars on the roads so we get to admire the riding and the view without the circus that accompanies a Grand Tour!

As a cyclist I am surprised and happy at how good the cars are at giving me a wide berth. I am also amazed that the French cyclists expect this and will often ride two abreast on relatively narrow roads and as cars approach behind them there is no honking of horns! Cars wait for a safe opportunity to pass or for the riders to realise they are there and to single out to let them go by. Its cultural. Read the full article.
