Guided Cycle Touring in Europe and Australia with Diamond Cycle Tours
European Tours 2017
Our 2017 program is now being set. Our signature tour in the French Alps will start in Geneva and include riding to and watching stages of the Tour de France in the Jura. This tour will then head south taking in some iconic climbs like the Alpe d’Huez before heading to the Provence Alps and Maritime Alps and ending in Nice.
We will also have our regular great tours in the Alps, the Dolomites and the Pyrenees.
Small groups, epic rides and great support make for a fantastic experience. This is what Greg had to say about his tour with us this year:
‘How do I begin to describe the best cycling experience I have ever had……
Scenery, food, company, riding and the climbs – it doesn’t get any better than the DCT experience. I’m back next year for more of the same’. More information…..
Tour Down Under 14-22 January 2017
The Tour Down Under is a must for all Aussie cyclists. Based for a week in the Adelaide CBD and riding the hills and coastline around the city is a great treat for all cyclists. Combine this with some of the best racing to be seen anywhere on the UCI program and it is a winning formula. We ride each day from our CBD accommodation to a vantage point to watch the race and have lunch at the DCT marquees. Our ride home is often amongst the pros as they to make their way back to the city. More information….
Alpes to Nice 2017
Only on the Col de la Madone could you chance to meet the major sponsor of the Astana Team! This mountain is a famous training ground for the pros and great for all riders. It is steep, it is long, it has views of the Mediterranean Sea and the hinterland that cannot be beaten. Sadly thought it almost marks the end of our Route des Grandes Alpes. More information….
The Dolomiti are spectacular for both the mountains and the riding. We start riding in the hills around Lake Como and ride on to some of the most challenging rides of the Giro d’Italia. These include the Stelvio, Mortirolo, Gavia, Fedaia and the epic Sella Ronda. More information….
Tour Pyrenees 2017
The Tour de France always includes the Pyrenees as it has some of the best cols in Europe. As well as the iconic cols such as Tourmalet, Peyresoudre and Aspin we also venture into Andorra and Spain. More information….
